Why Should You Care

According to NGO-DARPAN, the central government's portal, there are nearly 1.8 lakh NGOs registered. The actual number of operational NGOs in the country is estimated to be many times more than that. While most are run by passionate and committed people, their ability to run effective and sustainable social programs is seriously hampered by fundraising challenges. Especially among small and medium NGOs, the lack of resources and capabilities limit the opportunities to build a regular pipeline of fundraising activities and compromise the effectiveness of these causes.
